BREAD AND CIRCUSES

    One Sunday watching a football game, that dominates the consciousness of a nation, serves as a “Bread & Circuses” microcosm of endless Sundays through Saturdays wherein the majority of the civically illiterate electorate find time to obsess over football games, dance, singing and reality shows on TV but find it unimportant to know who their congressman or senator is and what they and our president are doing and whether it comports with the constitution the politicians swore to uphold. This is due in part to the dumbing-down “education” received in government run youth indoctrination centers, aka Public Schools staffed by NEA union thugs, an enabling, constitution-contemptuous establishment media acting as a propaganda organ of the equally constitution-contemptuous DemonKrap & RepukingGoon ruling duopoly, and a civically illiterate electorate that erroneously believes that the constitutional role of the Federal government is to give them “Free Stuff” paid for through the immoral slavery of their fellow citizens. For the ruling duopoly, “Bread & Circuses” events like the Superbowl act as shiny objects to keep the masses attention diverted away from the ruling duopoly's incessant assault on our freedom.
